WORK MEASUREMENT AND PRODUCTIVITY ANALYSIS – The Hewlett Packard Story
Bob has been an advocate of using numbers to achieve success in mail
center management for many years. Without
numbers, mail managers cannot have a level playing field when seeking
recognition and resources within their organization.
Bob has installed a number of measurement programs for his clients over
the years. Also due to his exposure with many mail managers nationwide,
he has reviewed a number of other programs in use. During one of Bob’s consulting assignments, he discovered
an in-house designed program being used by Hewlett Packard.
In this session learn why H-P developed their system and how it has
worked for them. Discover the
options of developing and using your own system for success.
BUYING EQUIPMENT - a different challenge
Bob’s clients have sought advice and assistance in identifying and
obtaining capital equipment. In
this session he brings his extensive experience to the audience and
concludes with a question and answer session.
The beginning of the session explores methods to eliminate the differences
between vendor offerings through the development of a Request for
Information (RFI) which meets your actual needs. Then find out how to prepare your RFP, grade the responses
and develop an objective ranking of the vendor offerings. Key ideas are shared on how to obtain internal support for
your needs and where to go for help.
This session is a must for any manager anticipating future
equipment acquisition.
