Equipment
& Furniture
TCC
has the expertise, experience and industry contacts to identify and
recommend the best equipment and furniture for your operation. The IMC Code of Ethics, under
which TCC operates, prohibits anything but the most objective
recommendations with only the client’s interest considered. Any
finder fees or commissions offered by vendors are credited to the client’s
purchase.
TCC
has aided clients with significant equipment selections and upgrades –
meters, inserter systems, and sorters. Mail processing has come a long
way since Ben Franklin, although some of his sorting techniques are still in
use today. The challenge is upgrading to the most practical level of
operations, having portals for future enhancements and providing optimum
return on investment.
An
important consideration with equipment is vendor service. Many times
mail operations are dependent upon a single piece of equipment to meet
requirements. If quality vendor service is not available, operational
objectives can not be met. TCC pays particular attention to vendor
service in the client’s area.
Furniture
selection impacts operational efficiencies. It is most important to
invest in furniture which will give the greatest payback. Mail centers
provide different services throughout the work day - a special challenge
when identifying furniture which can support multiple functions and still
meet efficient work flow requirements.
In
this fast moving world, vendor offerings are changing daily, as well as mail
processing requirements. It is TCC’s responsibility to know the
latest offerings in the marketplace and be able to find the information
needed for its clients.
